The Holocaust

The Holocaust was quite indeed one of the most horribl-(ist?) things that has ever happened in man-kind. Simply, the Holocaust was the Genocide of 6 million jewish citizens. Crazy, huh? But it also didn’t just happen like, “Hey, let’s kill six million Jews in Europe today!”. It happened more like, “Over a period of years, let’s keep being rude the jews until it gets up to the point of murdering them!”
But it was just as simple as that, either. The whole “Being rude to Jews” thing actually started in 1933 simply by telling the Jewish citizens to wear this little star. Harmless, right? Yes, that’s what it seemed to the Jews back then, because they didn’t know. Some people say, why couldn’t they pretend they weren’t jewish so they wouldn’t get killed? Well the Jews didn’t really know at the time that six million of them were going to be murdered. But after that, Hitler+The Nazis started saying things like, Jewish store owners could only sell to Jewish people, then Jewish people can’t own properties. It started kind of slow like that until it got worse.

Suddenly, all Jews had to be moved out of their house and moved into a walled-in ghetto place. And things like that. Eventually, most Jews were shoved in trains and sent to concentration camps to either; Be killed, Be a slave or be a test subject. Very horrible, right? If you were Jewish, and you were tested on, the told you to try and not to scream. They basically tested on you until you died, stacked you in a pile and burned you along with other dead Jews. I cannot even fathom the amount of pain and suffering all these Jewish people had to go through. It’s sicking thinking that people were doing that to them.
At the concentration camps, Jewish citizens could not even escape. If they did, everyone else in their section would be dead. Even if they spoke out against what was happening to them, they would simply be murdered.

In the concentration camps, you were put in a line. Once you got to this table, you were sent either left or right. One way was to die, the other was to live. (As a slave though) And they even gave the living ones a tattoo with a number. That’s all you were to them was just a number.
Not until 1945, when the second world war ended, did the Holocaust actually end. By then, six millions jewish citizens were dead, from the many concentration camps spread a little bit around Europe. Auschwitz was the most famous one. Also, apparently Hitler had some grudge against the Roma, people with disabilities, some other religions, homosexuals, people with certain political views and etc. Because some of them were also killed.
To sum it all up, Hitler was one horrible, evil, crazy, etc.(I could go on forever) Man.
